Drive In Storage System
The drive in storage system allows the maximum exploitation of the available surface comparing with the traditional storage systems. It’s possibile, in ad ideal setup, to double the storage space.
- This kind of shelving allows for the exploitation of all the surface available at the floor level as it removes the need for service corridors and, therefore, allows to use up to 80% more pallet space.
This shelving is intended for situations where product movement in the warehouse is cyclical, and the products are stored by stacking, following the “LIFO” system. Drive in shelving is best used for cold-storage rooms, seasoning of foods, and all the situations requiring high-density filling of the warehouse. Moreover, this kind of shelving can be adapted for the usage in automated wharehouses, served by transelevator or by bilateral or trilateral fork lifts.
