Gravity assited shelving
This is a type of pallet racking which allows for two-sided access to the shelf to be loaded; at the top of the rack and at the end of the rack. This renders it an ideal solution for storage warehouses that send out a large quantity of goods.
Material to be loaded and stored is placed in its desired position thanks to a system of aisles which roll the material into place in a controlled manner. This storage area is slightly tilted.
It is, therefore, ideal for the " FIFO " storage system. The material loaded at one end is the material which is unloaded first at the opposite end.
